Karen Rebeiro Gruhl
Biography
Karen Rebeiro Gruhl is an occupational therapist who worked 32 years in mental health before "retiring" to teach and pursue other clinical interests. Karen works in partnership with a mental health organization known as NISA/Northern Initiative for Social Action to conduct program evaluation of NISA, to research Peer Support Workers in northern Ontario, and across Canada, and to better understand how participating in occupations contributes to health and well being.
