Biography
Donald Léger has 28 years teaching experience in chemistry and physics at the high school level and has been lecturing in chemistry education for the past 15 years at the Faculté d'Éducation. In 2014 he was admitted to HGSE (Harvard Graduate School of Education) where he studied Global Education. His present research project is entitled PISA 2000-2019: an Intercultural Palimpsest and has been converted to a Power Point format - presentations are available (free of charge) in English, French and Spanish.
His findings were presented at the Canadian International Conference on Education (CICE) in June of 2016 at the University of Toronto, the paper being amongst the 10 % of accepted abstracts. Comments were well received and will form part of an ongoing discussion in this ever-expanding topic. He has also presented his findings here at Laurentian as part of the CAÉSÉ conference given every two years.
