State-Corporate Crime

This course examines the crimes committed by corporations, their CEOs and the managerial structure. These crimes range from environmental to financial to the failure to provide a safe workplace for employees. What necessitates the ignoring and at times endorsement of corporate behaviour by government officials and the media? How do both the Private and Public sectors benefit from such crimes?
