Scientific Writing and Communication
This course is designed for students enrolled in a science program. It is an introduction to the various formats of written and oral communication commonly used by the scientific community. Using a set of published data from their discipline, students learn how to present these data in the form of a conference abstract, a short talk and a poster. Students also learn how to critically read a scientific article (lec 3) 3cr. PREREQ: Having completed at least 60 cr of a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree or permission from the instructor.
