The Dynamic Earth

This course is a study of the global plate tectonic processes that led to the deformation of the Earth's lithosphere. Topics include the origin of mountain belts and other major regional geologic structures and the formation and growth of the North American continent. This course is directed towards non-science students and is not available for credit in the B.Sc. in Geology or Environmental Earth Science programs.
