This course will apply risk management to Contents will include a review of underground mine design and valuation methods; risk analysis using Monte Carlo simulation; uncertainties and decision making in underground mining; assessment of alternatives in mine design; quality assessment in systems design; flexibility assessment in mine design; performance assessment in mine design; lateral development, and deep mining applications.
