Writings in Architecture
Architects at times write architectural theory, although much of the time architectural critics or historians place the work in a larger theoretical context. Students are assigned to read some aspect of architectural theory in detail. Ideas are discussed in a seminar format and presented in relation to established discourse in architecture. The course instructor will define specific themes for the course each year. The course may include visiting lecturers or other faculty members. Prereq.: ARCH 2036
