Design Theory in Science Communication

This course introduces students to audience-centered design principles, with a focus on designing for accessibility, understanding, usability, and engagement. Students learn and apply graphic design techniques to develop effective communication assets. They practice audiencefocused research methods to develop, evaluate, and improve their designs through an iterative workflow.
