The Laurentian Voyageurs Dance Team is a competitive dance club created to give students at Laurentian University the chance to participate in dancing, and offers opportunities for learning, improving, and teaching dance. The team has different genres of dance that the dancers can choose to be in including jazz, contemporary, tap, and hip-hop. The practices involve technique building and skill strengthening, learning choreography, and team bonding. We compete in dance competitions against other universities across southern Ontario! Tryouts for the team are at the beginning of fall semester and we encourage everyone to show off their abilities auditioning for a spot on the team. Our goal is to create a strong dance team full of opportunity, excitement, and passion.

The Laurentian University Ringette Team was brought back to the university in the 2018-2019 season, and has been growing ever since! Our team is mainly made up of Laurentian students, as well as some Collège Boréal and Cambrian College students. Tryouts are held in September and the team is formed in early October. The team generally competes in four tournaments throughout the season, notably, AA Provincials, and the University Challenge Cup (UCC). University ringette is unique in that the teams change every year; you get to play with old teammates, old rivals, and other players you may have never had the chance to play with otherwise. University ringette is one of the best ways to continue playing competitively throughout your post-secondary education.
The club holds weekly on-ice practices, as well as dryland training sessions. There are monthly exhibition games and the team plays in four tournaments throughout the season.
The fee differs year to year depending on fundraising and sponsorships. Generally, it costs about $600 per player.
