This Month Published

This Month Published aims to celebrate and communicate scholarly output from Laurentian faculty and Highly Qualified Personnel (HQP)

This Month Published will be updated the first week of every month.

All of Laurentian’s researchers and HQP are invited to participate in this initiative with the following guidelines: (Read more here)

  1. Scope of scholarly output: journal publications, book series, stand-alone books (including edited volumes, monographs, text books, and reference works), digital or visual media, exhibitions, performances, reports, software or any other form of scholarly work that has received a critical-review that is acceptable by, and within the norms of the respective discipline.
  2. Details of peer-reviewed new scholarly output:  In your submission for each new peer-reviewed scholarly output, please include: the whole list of author names; institutional and departmental affiliations; the title; the name of the journal, publisher, etc., full pagination (where applicable); and publication year and month.
  3. Please do not submit scholarly works with the status of “accepted” or “in press”.  Only officially published outputs are considered to be included in This Month Published.  All those “accepted” or “in press” can be profiled in This Month Published once they are officially published with full citation information.
  4. Researchers and HQP are encouraged to submit all of their new scholarly output every month; however, please refrain from submitting those that have been submitted previously.
  5. Submission timelines: Please send your new scholarly output information before the last day of the month in order for the submitted publications to be included in the following month’s This Month Published list.
  6. All submissions, questions, and comments can be directed to Sean Parsons (sa_parsons@laurentian.ca) in the Office of Research Services.
