Health and Safety Mandatory Training
In accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, employers must demonstrate that they have completed all legislated training which includes, OHS roles and responsibilities, WHMIS as well as information about Laurentian-specific health and safety policies. In addition, you must complete the AODA training in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA).
You have the option of completing the Occupational Health and Safety training in a classroom setting. You can find upcoming sessions on the “Workshop” page on My.Laurentian.
Instructions for accessing training on Learning portal.
- Log in to D2L (https://d2l.laurentian.ca);
- Select the self-register button; find the course - Health and Safety Mandatory Training (course code: HS_course).
- Follow instructions to register;
- Open course;
- Select a role;
- Go to content to start your training;
