Philosophy of Law

This course explores the philosophy of law. Topics include to the rule of law, charters of rights and freedoms, the tension between individual rights and the common good, the relationship between law and morality, and current issues such as privacy and hate speech.PREREQ: 18 university credits. (lec 3) cr 3. Students may not retain credit for both PHIL 2576 and PHIL 2575
