External Auditing II
This course applies the concepts and techniques of auditing to specific components of the financial statements. Students are exposed to the basic steps of performing an audit and developing a greater understanding of the general audit framework. Students develop knowledge of selected current issues facing the auditor today and other topics such as operational and comprehensive auditing are discussed. PREREQ: ACCT 3021, ACCT 3031, ACCT 4001 and ACCT 4021 (minimum C). (lec 3) cr 3. Cross-listed with ADMN 4177. Students cannot retain credit for both COMM 4177 and ACCT 4041.
