External Financial Reporting I

This course will introduce students to financial accounting principles and provide an understanding of those concepts that are fundamental to the use of accounting. Real world examples will be used to demonstrate that individuals in non-accounting functions use accounting information in their decision making. This course is especially focused towards students wishing to pursue a career in any accounting related field or interested in knowing more about how accounting is a key part of management. 3 cr. Lec. Students cannot retain credits for both COMM 1107, ACCT 2106 and ADMN 1107.
