Part-Time Permanent Appointment
Hours of work: Twenty (20) hours per week
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, Laurentian Online, the successful candidate’s main priority will be to provide support services to current and prospective online students by responding to in-person, telephone and email inquiries. The Support Clerk will also provide ongoing assistance to Laurentian Online personnel in order to support the effective organization and management of the unit.
The successful candidate will:
- Provide student support services (by phone, email and in person);
- Provide assistance and ongoing support services to the Laurentian Online personnel involved in course production and delivery;
- Provide assistance and ongoing support services to the Laurentian Online Examinations Coordinator;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in an administrative role
- College diploma
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills\ Ability to set priorities
- Ability to work under stressful conditions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
