On behalf of the Ontario government, Sudbury MPP Rick Bartolucci announced a $2.04 million contribution to Laurentian University, on May 15, 2009. This investment from the McGuinty government will help during the difficult economic times by supporting undergraduate growth and graduates studies. Le 15 mai 2009, au nom du gouvernement de l'Ontario, le député provincial de Sudbury, Rick Bartolucci, a annoncé une contribution de 2,04 millions $ à l'Université Laurentienne. Cet investissement du gouvernement McGuinty contribuera au cours de la période de difficultés économiques en soutenant la croissance des étudiants de premier cycle ainsi que les études supérieures.
